I have battled with acne my WHOLE life, and although the dermatologists said it was hormonal, I knew there was a deeper meaning. I recently noticed a trend with the way my skin reacts to food. After taking my IgG sensitivity test and changing my diet, my acne started to lessen. A majority of my gut problems and food sensitivities were triggering the cysts and bumps. I notice that I get the WORST breakouts when I eat eggs, dairy, and sugar.

Although I have changed my diet and my acne has gotten significantly better, I still have a few breakouts.

I have been posting a lot on what I use on my skin on Instagram for fun, and SO MANY of you have been asking me to make more posts and share my product links. Here are the products I swear by to help treat my blemishes.

I like to use products that are very clean. The more ingredients I can pronounce, the more my skin thanks me. Here is the rundown:

  • I use rosehip oil as a base on my skin before I use my gua sha.
  • I mix the Vitamin E and Tea Tree and apply to my red marks. I also use the Tea Tree on acne.
  • When my skin is oily, I make a clay mask with French Green Clay. I add half part water to the clay and create a thick consistency similar to guacamole (ha!) and add in other oils as needed.
  • Before bed I use PowerSpot on blemishes that need a little more assistance.

All in all, nothing will magically disappear over night. I know this is can be frustrating, but you have to stay consistent and be patient.
