Research

First, I created a mood board through a “brain dump” of every mood I wanted the reader to feel as a result of reading the book. I then interviewed 30 young adults to determine times that have been troubling them in their own personal life whether they were facing a battle or watching someone else undergo something traumatic. The themes are below. After this, I then began to create a list of people to interview through primary research and documentaries to watch, podcasts to listen to, and research papers to read in the medical community as secondary research. Throughout my book-writing process, I had a series of ten individuals read the entirety of the book and provide feedback to improve.
